Earlier this Summer, FK Group supported the bi-annual Manchester International Festival or MIF as a silver supporter.
The unique event took place this summer from the 29th June through until the 16th July in venues throughout Manchester City centre. This year the event had musical performances featuring New Order, Arcade Fire and ground breaking premiers including musical drama Cotton Panic created by Jane Horrocks.
Manchester International Festival is the first and only festival of all new work created by outstanding international artists. It takes Manchester and the MIF brand around the world. This is a great event for FK to be involved with and helps illustrate our commitment to our home city.
During the festival, the Altrincham office held an afternoon drinks reception at the Glasshouse – the heart of MIF in Albert Square. The building which is constructed for the length of the festival acts as a hub and meeting place for people visiting the festival’s many spectacles.
It showed the team what FK played a part in and enabled them to go and check out MIF for themselves. We were blessed with an unusual sunny Manchester day too!
