FK Group acquires Premo Fabrications

5th June 2019

We want to share the news with you that FK Group has purchased aluminium fabrication specialists Premo Fabrications and, as of today, the company is part of the FK Group.

This is a positive move for FK Group as we continue to strive towards being at the forefront of Modern Methods of Construction (MMC). Increasingly our clients are looking for evidence of sustainability within our supply chain and off-site manufacturing is key to this.

We have worked with the team at Premo Fabrications for many years on many prestigious projects and have shared visions. We will continue to work with other suppliers as the Premo business will run autonomously.

We will not be exclusively working with Premo in this area and we will continue to work with other suppliers to meet our client’s requirements.

As a group we now have a turnover in excess of £100 million and this acquisition is a positive move to further strengthen our offering to the market.

FK Group is thriving and this is thanks to our people. In our 40 years, we have seen a lot from market downturns to the advent of new technologies. As a business we have always been able to adapt. By adopting new methods and technologies it has ensured we have become one of the most trusted and recognised building envelope providers in the UK.

The team is key. Steve Hall has been an integral part of the FK team for over 30 years, helping to take us to the £100 m + turnover business we are today.

As MD of FK Construction, there is not much Steve doesn’t know about delivering multi-million pound projects. He is well recognised and valued across the industry with clients, suppliers and competitors.

After 30 years, Steve is taking on a new role within the business. Steve will be taking on a more strategic role, alongside the Executive Board, assisting the business with its strategy and direction to ensure we remain leaders in innovation.

In addition to Steve’s new strategic role, we have made some changes at FK Group Executive Board level. The Board welcomes Matt Lang and Richard Robinson. They will sit alongside Paul Bentley MD, Matt Barker FD and Chief Executive Francis Keenan.

If you have any questions, please do get in touch. We will be reaching out on a more individual basis in the coming weeks.
